- Saturday, April 9 from 1 to 3 pm Egg Hunt on the Island returns! This is an egg hunt on and around downtown’s Stolp Island. Go on a scavenger hunt and search for eggs in storefronts and more. That same day the Easter Bunny will be visiting Millennium Plaza. Stop by Bunny at the Gazebo and receive a free photo to download later online.
- Tuesday April 19th there will be a great hiring event at the Aurora Public library downtown. This will take place from 4 to 7 pm and is sponsored by the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce and Talented Tenth Social Services. - Join our friends of Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry and #LovePurse for a great collection and donation drive honoring Women’s History Month. Going until March 31st, you can donate purses and drop them of at any of 3 collection locations: Aurora Bank & Trust (2287 W Galena, blvd), Marie Wilkinson’s Food Pantry (834 Highland ave.) and the Office of State Representative Barbara Hernandez (540 W.
