Coffee and hot chocolate, good morning dear friends! It's Thursday, one more day to go and our weekend will have arrived. We hope you're all feeling well and rested, we have things to discuss so let's get into things. Our news today:
- February 5th is the kids pop up pantry from 10 am to noon taking place at Georgetown Elementary School located at 995 Long Grove Drive. That same day, the Administer Justice Legal Clinic will be taking place at the food pantry from 9 am to noon. On the 15th of February there will be a vaccine and booster clinic taking place at the pantry that will take place from 8:30 am to noon. Lastly, the Women’s Empowerment Mobile Pantry returns February 1th from 2 to 3 pm. Shouts out to our friends of the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry on all they do!
- Monday the 24th of January from 5 to 6 pm, State Representative Barbara Hernandez will hold the first Virtual Social Justice Meeting of 2022! This will take place from 5 to 6 pm and registration is required. The guest organization will be Illinois Aging Together, a statewide movement for aging equity. - Last but not least, Tuesday February 1st from 7:30 to 9:30 am will be the February New Moon Cacao Ceremony. This will take place at Zen Loft Wellness Center 6 W.
