In this episode, I talk with Jacob Espinoza aka Jakey Snakey is a current senior at Santa Gertrudis Academy High School in Kingsville, Texas. Jacob is a multi-sport student-athlete competing in football, baseball, track, and cross country during his time at SGA. Jacob has received many recognitions from his on-field accomplishments such as several all-district team selections for football and baseball. Jacob is also an accomplished saxophonist and participant in the Mighty Lion Band at SGA. Jacob was selected as a drum major this school year for 2020-2021 and is a 4-time area qualifier in the ATSSB All-State Band Competition. In the classroom, Jacob is an outstanding student navigating both high school level and dual credit classes while maintaining A’s. Outside of school Jacob has a huge passion for CrossFit and has represented 6th Street Crossfit at several competitions doing very well for his age group.
