Welcome to this very special Rosey Review episode [usually a shorter segment where I take a single topic aligned to recruitment, getting a job, or a career question I have received, and share my views], where I’ve created a 2020 Christmas compilation, as a gift to you all, from the 7 guests that have featured over 8 guest episodes since I began this podcast

First we start with Michael Viner, Manager Partner at Customise Talent.  We recorded this episode as I was about to start with the team and in this clip he shares a little about the experience of our Customise team, great recruiter traits and how important it is to us that we create trusted partnerships with our clients

Next is Logan Emery, E-Commerce Growth Marketing Graduate at WineDab who shares his career aspirations, how important a skill it is to have cultural sensitivity and a shout out to Air New Zealand from an outsiders view of great company culture.  A great lesson to organisations about how important the perception of working at your brand is to attract top talent

Then Mikayla Hopkins, Chief Marketing Officer at The Face Place, Founder of Her Career, and all round beautiful human shares the recruitment process of one of the hardest working Marketing Specialists she’s ever employed, the honesty, humour and appreciation of diversity, a great and heartwarming story

Next is Yang Zhang-Farhi, HR Consultant at UDC Finance Limited covering negotiation.  She shares how Her Career helped here and how she now advocates and shares her knowledge with others, while also considering from both candidate and company perspective

Next up are two clips from Nick Campbell, GM of Practice Product at Xero.  In the first episode we covered candidate view with the next from a hiring manager outlook, both were insightful, informative and entertaining

Following Nick is Rachel Adams, Head of Operations at Soda Inc & Co-Founder at LiveHappy NZ.  What I loved about my time with Rachel was her success in non traditional ways and her focus on team development, inclusion and kindness

Finally we round off with Elise Wilson, Solicitor at Lane Neave, also Founder & Host at The Young Woman, who shares with us her gorgeous mix of intellect, advocation, risk minimisation and future thoughts
