Description

Today, we sit down with Charlie Dawes and Walter Clauss who rode their bikes over 1,500 miles to Key West, Florida to support caretakers of people with Alzheimer's. We start off our conversation with their inspiration for the trip and what went into planing their journey (5:45).  We later get into what it was like to complete their trip during a pandemic and what they saw in major cities as protests were erupting (14:15). They then talk about a crazy time where the road flooded, and the only way to the other side was through it (22:30). We then talk about some of their favorite parts of the trip (26:30) and conclude with how well their fundraising efforts went. If you'd like to look back at their journey you can go to their Instagram page @ridefortheas. Did you enjoy this episode? Make sure you follow, subscribe and leave a rating so we know you enjoyed it!
