Honor is a major and indispensable prerequisite and requirement for receiving miracles from God. The dishonor and rejection given to Jesus by His countryside, city, community, and relatives were so much that He had to talk seriously about it and He could not do mighty works that is, great miracles there and among them.
The Bible says,
"For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country."
John 4:44. The Bible also says,
"And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house."
Matthew 13:57. Also, the Scriptures say,
"But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them."
Mark 6:4-5.
Therefore, there can be no reception without honor. Honor makes the recipient receive God and by implication receive the miracle, this means that one can only receive a miracle when he has received the doer of the miracle via honor.
Listen to this profound teaching of the second Miracle Christ Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee to receive the revelation light that we are only able to honor God because He first honored us. God placed a price tag on mankind and that tag is the price of His Son- CHRIST JESUS.
