CHIMDI M. OHAHUNA|COMMANDING THE YEAR 2025| RESTORATION Series - DAY 17: RESPONDING TO GOD'S LOVE AND RESTORATION
Welcome to Day 17 of our Restoration Series. This teaching explores the profound concept of walking and working in the consciousness of God's given and revealed word, as inspired by Psalm 126:4. Unveiling the understanding that work is man's response to God's provision, just as God provided the Garden of Eden and placed man there to dress and keep it.
Our love for God is a response to His love for us, as seen in Genesis 2. We are not creators in the true sense; we are reciprocators. Using the work of the ministry to meet personal needs equates to merchandising. True ministry is a response to serving and seeking God and His Kingdom, and as we do, our needs are met by God. Every act of love from the New Creation is an act of reciprocation.
Prayer and other services to God are all about responding to Him. We are responders, not doers. When frustrations arise in our walk with God, it often indicates we are trying to be the doers instead of responding to what God has already done. Choosing to enjoy God and embrace everlasting life keeps our lives free from frustration.
In life, we respond to both God and man, as reflected in the greatest commandments given by Jesus. Continuous prayer and diligent work bring gradual changes, as sudden changes can be disastrous. Responding is an act of worship; God doesn't force His love on us but desires our willing response.
When God's restoration manifests, we must respond in two ways: to God and to the nations. This response involves worship and sharing the good news of His restorative power. Our lives should be a testament to His love and grace.
Join us in this episode as we pray for the grace to live lives of worship, consistently responding to God's love. Tune in for an enlightening session on how to embrace our roles as responders to God's provision, love, and restoration. Let's journey together in faith, understanding that our response to God shapes our experience of His restoration.
Grace to you!
Jesus is Lord.
