TEACHING SERIES| CHIMDI OHAHUNA| RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. Bible Text: Luke 24:8‭-‬11 KJV
"And they remembered his words, and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, ..., which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not."

In continuation of the teaching on why the stone was rolled away at the tomb, we understand that another set of people that needed the experience/ encounter are those in the category of "the eleven".

"The eleven" are those who follow Jesus but carry the mindset that some supernatural acts of God are idle tales / nonsense , as such they believe them not. However, as New Creations and followers of Christ it is important we know that one of the purpose of our process/ experience is for us to broaden our horizon/ understanding of Christ.

Although, a believer might be amongst the eleven, he can come out of the rest like the Apostle Peter, by the Spirit of Faith. Even though he thought like "the eleven", the news they heard did not make sense, the resurrection news of Christ was unbelievable to the disciples ( and they were foretold by Jesus of His resurrection). But, Peter dared to move out towards the tomb for his own encounter...
