TEACHING SERIES| RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. Topic: He is Risen (pt6)- WHY WAS THE STONE ROLLED AWAY?
Bible Text: Luke 24:1-11.
"And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?". Luke 24:4-5, KJV.
In continuation of the teaching on why the stone was rolled away at the tomb, we understand that another set of people that needed the experience/ encounter are those in the category of "those who were perplexed by the Resurrection power".
From this teaching, you will discover how the condition of the mind determines the consciousness (of the believer) of God's presence and our experience before His presence. Also, you will understand the cause of fear, pain, perplexity, and being at loss. Like the women perplexed at the opened tomb and missing body of Jesus in the tomb, as believers we are not to walk out of our experience with God when we do not understand. Rather, listen to the voice and leading of God through the Comforter, the HOLY SPIRIT.
