The name of God, Jehovah-Mekoddishkem, provides us with the understanding that the Most High wants us as His Chosen ones, sanctified always.
The value of sanctification in the life of a child of God is the reason why Sabbath was introduced to mankind. God values our sanctification so much so that He instituted the law of Sabbath and not only that, He declares that He is the Lord of the Sabbath.
