CHIMDI M. OHAHUNA|COMMANDING THE YEAR 2025| RESTORATION Series - DAY 25: REDEFINING TRUE FORTUNE
Welcome to the grand finale of our Restoration Series. In this concluding episode, we reflect on Psalm 126:4, "Restore Our Fortunes, Oh LORD," and look into the profound understanding of fortune and restoration from a divine perspective.
Fortune, often associated with wealth, can change as times change. Hence, our trust must be in God, not in fleeting fortunes. The true wealth of a person lies in their character, not in monetary riches. Jesus exemplified this by being rich in glory, not finances.
As we redefine fortune, it's crucial to realize that competing with darkness instead of shining the light of the Gospel is not the Church’s calling. Every time we chase after earthly fortune, it pulls us away from true worship. Worship is not just about songs; it's a lifestyle for the New Creation.
Restoration calls us back to where we missed it, with Christ in us as the hope of glory. For believers, fortune is not a prosperity achieved through luck but by grace. Misinterpretations of the word of truth have led to many feeling unfortunate, but understanding fortune correctly brings true prosperity.
Who we are is determined by our inner self, not our environment. Even if our surroundings are limited, it does not mean we are limited. Without understanding fortune, believers can feel unfortunate, but with God's wisdom and the continuous inflow of His Word, we thrive and rise above our circumstances.
We must be attuned to the flow of God's Word in this season of restoration. Restoration involves a constant intake of God’s Word, leading to spiritual growth and transformation. Each wave of restoration is massive, driven by a fresh understanding of our identity in Christ.
Join us in this powerful finale as we explore the true meaning of fortune, the importance of character, and the role of grace in our prosperity. Discover how to stay focused on God rather than material wealth and embrace the lifestyle of worship that marks the New Creation.
Tune in for an enlightening and uplifting session on allowing God's Word to shape our understanding of fortune and experiencing the profound restoration He promises. Let's end this series with a renewed sense of purpose, faith, and gratitude for God's unfailing love and grace.
LORD, HELP US TO TRUST IN YOU AND EMBRACE THE TRUE FORTUNE OF YOUR RESTORATION.
Grace to you!
Jesus is Lord.
