Success is an innate desire in mankind which invariably means that it was put in Man from Creation. Success by the Spirit is achieving success in life and living in a godly way. And, godly success according to the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 refers to good success and not just success. In other words, if success is not good, it is not of God.
Good success entails being guided and taught by the LORD continually; it is the ability to be teachable and be guided by the LORD. According to the Bible, God teaches, guides, and leads us by various means. First of all, the Holy Spirit teaches us ALL things; and one needs the Word of God for the Holy Spirit to lead him. Other means via God leads us into good success includes godly earthly fathers, mentors, Fathers in Christ through the gospel, and the New Testament Prophets.
