Hello beloved, the devil did not get you. In reality, your encounter was just the noise/vibration from the shield of the LORD because they prevented the satanic arrows shot at you by the enemy.
The Anchor Bible text for this teaching says,
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psalm 28:7, KJV.
The LORD our shield means that Yahweh is our cover and defense. He also surrounds us with an enveloping effect making it impossible for us to burn because of the fire/heat of life. The good news is that Jesus covered us from the heat of the wrath of God and keeps covering us from the heat of life.
