This study is bordered around the question: Why did Jesus turn so much water into wine? The Holy Spirit is the owner and custodian of gifts in the Kingdom of God an Scriptures helps us understand that He gives to the believer as He wills. Hence, we cannot claim authority over gift(s) we received.
Jesus Christ instructed the servants to fill up the cleansing jars and they obeyed, leaving no room as they filled the jars. We have a part to play for every miracle God performs. We get involved and play our part by faith. The goodnews is that, God is looking for a mustard seed faith to enter into partnership with Him.
Jesus is the Creative power of God (John 1:1-3)hence, He could have commanded both the water and wine into the jars, but He did not do it. By this, Jesus demonstrates how much He wants us to trust Him. Until, we learn to trust Him, obedience to His instructions will be burdensome.
