In this teaching on reasons why we praise God, we understand how every believer ought to be conscious of the LORD as our strength. The Bible says,
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Psalm 28:7, KJV.
Another word that explains strength is force. Therefore, the LORD is my strength also means the LORD is my force. Life is full and governed by forces. And, this study refers to spiritual forces; some of these forces are for us and others are against us as believers in Christ.
The knowledge and consciousness that the LORD is the force behind, around, and before us builds our confidence in life.Yahweh is the force behind us. Jehovah Sabaoth uses all of creation to stand behind us.
