Like sheep, we tend to go our own way but the Lord is our shepherd. We are dependent on him. We need his gentle hands and watchful eye so that we do not go astray. As our shepherd, the Lord cares for us,provides for our physical needs, comforts us, heals us and will not abandon us. Thus, we can boldly declare like the Psalmist" The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want."
