The Ephesian church was a group of believers who were rich in Jesus Christ but we're living as beggars because they were ignorant of their wealth. Paul therefore encouraged them that in spite of their differences, they should endeavour to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. This unity is born out of the love that was she'd abroad in our hearts through our relationship with Jesus Christ. That unity will teach us how to love each other.
