Temptations happen to all us. Every day we are bombarded with messages and images that can lead to sinful lusts. However, we do not have to give in to these temptations. Jesus was tempted by the devil and He used the Word of God as a weapon against temptation. We too can use this method. Guided by the Holy Spirit through reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God will strengthen us so we will not give in to temptation. Temptation is not sin.
