Today may not be the official first day of Spring, but in my world, Spring arrived today with the sound of newly arrived curlews who arrive from goodness knows where to nest and raise young in the meadow near where I live (that's a curlew in the picture, in case you were wondering). Does this have anything to do with midlife or menopause? Well, yes, in a new beginnings, hopeful kind of way.
