Last week we celebrated World Environment Day and on June 8th it was World Oceans Day. How with the mention of color red we immediately think of love, similarly with the mention of Ocean or Beaches I immediately think of my today’s guest - Ammujam Raveendran who prefers to be addressed as Ammu. She is the one behind “The Save Oman Beaches" initiative. She began with it in 2019 at the age of 54+, with 59 beach clean ups and tonnes of waste collected, She is willed to do all that it takes to protect and preserve the beaches of Oman (and the ones she visits anywhere in the world). This is her story about her forever young spirit.
