Description

Last year after I quit my job, I went to Auroville for a yoga program and thereafter I ended up volunteering in Sadhana Forest.

It’s there where I was introduced to the concept of ‘Unlearning’. At the evening Q&A session, with the founder of Sadhana Forest ‘Aviram Rozin’, I understood that ‘all my life I have been striving to learn, but here I am attempting to unlearn so that I can relearn life concepts in the most honest and human ways’.

Today at You are Human, the process of unlearning is going to unfold itself through the experience and wisdom of my Guest. This episode is a very special one as he is one the most amazing Yoga teachers that I have practiced with. Mohammed Dohadwala, a committed yogi who started practicing yoga when he was 39 years of age.

Like most Yogis, he started with an active physical practice and found that it quickly moved into being a mindful and spiritual practice. While Mohammed’s initial education includes an engineering degree from IIT Bombay and an MBA from IIM Calcutta along with a few investment credentials, his journey to self discovery began with the serendipity of yoga. In this episode he talks about his expectations from himself, contribution of yoga in his life, men’s mental health and so effortlessly explains the concept of Active Surrendering.
