Description

The incomparable Sue Bell Yank has just started as the Executive Director of Clockshop, an arts and culture organization that seeks to generate social change through the transformation of public space. And while there is never a bad time to revisit this great convo, we couldn't think of a better one than now!

Erika and Alexis speak with Sue Bell Yank, Deputy Director of 18th Street Arts, formerly of OWN and the Hammer, and an all around awesome smart lady with very soothing voice. We talk about the importance of arts education from a young age, funding, civil projects, community engagement and LARPing. She also has an incredible podcast, Paved Paradise, about the history of housing disparity in Los Angeles that we discuss, and it's a treat to hear about the behind the scenes! This is an exceptionally inspiring one! I mean look below and bask in the RANGE!
