Carmel Marshall is the General Manager, Planning and Development at Catholic Care Central Queensland. Her role covers a vast area and incorporates regional centers with very different communities and needs. Carmel speaks about the challenges of attracting people to regional areas and providing services that make communities great. With a background in regional and economic development, Carmel has important perspectives on how communities work, what it takes for them to function well and how people can thrive within them. As a significant contributor to her community through various Board and volunteer roles, Carmel is a great role model for being part of change, making things happen and the personal rewards that come from actively participating.
