Dina and Rebecca discuss indigenous food efforts, plant-based diets for autoimmune support, and the diverse culture within New York City.
Rebecca Scott is the founder of Sustainable Snacks, a Bronx-based natural foods company on a mission to promote public health through better snacking.
After being diagnosed with lupus and making changes to her own diet, Rebecca sought to work with hundreds of clients to help them improve their health outcomes through food and nutrition modifications. Rebecca now promotes plant-based eating through the snacks she creates, her community efforts with Bronx Health REACH, and as part of the #Not62 Campaign for a Healthy Bronx.
