Description

In this episode, Caylee shares her work and personal history on what the nutrition world has to offer to those who suffer from psoriasis and other autoimmune diseases as she prepares to publish her first book, How to Gain Control of Your Psoriasis with Diet and Lifestyle Changes. Growing up, Caylee was primarily exposed to ultra-processed foods with questionable ingredients. As a result, she suffered from chronic headaches and stomach aches that finally were relieved once she changed her diet.

Caylee Clay is a nationally credentialed Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, as well as a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She completed her postgraduate Dietetic Internship at Hunter College and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University. Caylee has studied under leaders in the health & nutrition world, including completing an independent study & graduate work with Marion Nestle, author of Food Politics. She is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. When she isn't cooking old favorite recipes or discovering new ones, Caylee loves to spend her spare time hiking, gardening, and biking.
