The second episode of Resist! the Global Climate Divide Podcast is here! In this episode we will explore the links between Climate Change and Racial Justice, diving into the colonial roots of this crisis and reflecting about how different cultures have different perspectives regarding Climate Change.
Nadia Asri will interview Marios, from Rebellion Belgium (https://www.extinctionrebellion.be/en/), and Sanka Chandima Abayawardena, from the European Network Against Racism (https://www.enar-eu.org/). They will bring up interesting topics challenging Western mentality, bringing examples from China , Sri Lanka or Cambodia, and reflecting on how some of this cultural heritage is being forgotten in the name of Western Science and Capitalism.
