You know In my 30’s I was very stressed out all the time. I had thoughts of what might happen, what I expected to happen, and  the gap between the two seemed to be great. Those differences between what I worried about and expected to happen and what was really going on created a big divide. That seemed like a chasm and caused a great deal of stress in my life. The things that I found that worked for me are:

  1. Do what needs to be done without whining. Action reduces stress.

  2. Stop trying to control everything.

  3. Do what you can and let go of the rest.

  4. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt

  5. Deeply breathing

This has been something that I have continued to learn. I had something big happen last week. It rocked my world and sent me back into old habits. I had to work at it again and move through these five things to start to work past the loss and other emotions that came with the experience. Life is not a do it right once and it is over experience. We get to create confidence by stepping into things that scare us and cause us stress. Stress is pain. Pain has a job. Pain wants us to move away from the thing that causes pain. When we burn ourselves we move away from the flame. Set up a time to talk about getting past your stress and pain points.
