Description

I asked a friend that was down what was troubling him. The answer was money money money. Now that is true for wall street, the housing market, political campaigns, small business, start-ups, and nonprofits. It is also the major strife between husband and wife. It is always money, money, money. Whether you love it or hate it you need money and it is best you get buddy-buddy with it. If you want to know how somebody feels about himself or herself look at their bank account. Money is one of the greatest measurements of one's mind set. Jim rone said “your net worth will seldom exceed your self-worth.” This is probably why there is so much emotion and psychosis tied to people's relationship with money because it can be very revealing. It's your mindset and attitude about money that either attracts it to you or chases it away from you. What's in your head determines what's in your wallet as Darren Hardy said. If you want more money there's one place to look and that's within. It's likely if you don't you will go without, In his book called “Millionaires” by Marc Fisher he tells a story of an old millionaire that asks a young boy who is seeking his fortune. Why aren't you rich already? When you live in an era of unprecedented wealth and opportunity it has never been easier and more people have never been more wealthy than they are today, and it has been getting better for the last 20 years.  There is no other time in human history that has been so wealthy. So if you are not why not. Your answer to this question will reveal a lot about yourself. It will expose your excuses. and your rationalizations or your justifications. It may be some self-limiting beliefs or doubts or fears that you have.

So I have just been doing some interpersonal work and I want riches but there are opportunities I’m not willing to give up. There are things I’m not willing to put off. I still have some debt but I’m not going to not go out to dinner again until I pay it all off. I like the petty payoff I get from going to dinner. I love the experience and the relationship building that happens as we are in the restaurant. I love the relationship building of going to see my family so I’m not willing to give that up in order to get out of debt faster. I’m willing to stay in debt for longer to have these be part of my life. But I have looked at these and studied the cost and have made the informed decision to keep these in my life.

So it's time to reprogram your hard drive. What are your limitations to achieving financial abundance? For me there has been a belief that I am not good enough. For members of my family there is a deep-seated belief that money is wrong and the people who have it are inherently manipulative, conniving and or evil. So contrary to the Sourpuss Creed money is the root of all good, it takes money to build hospitals, churches, shelters, and charities. Money is also needed to buy homes, cars, clothes, food, education, vacations, and other glorious experiences. These are positive, wonderful, experiences that life should include. Money is Created by those who built something where nothing existed before. Money is only a tool and should be used for people rather than using people for money. Money has an energy of its own and it's largely attracted to people whose virtues match it and respect its power.

Now I want to let you know how much I appreciate each of you spending your time with me today. I think of you each day. I get you. You are a big part of my life and I’m glad you are here.
