Most people talk about peak performance when talking about sports or athletics. But what about being in peak performance for your LIFE? Are you your best self most of the time or only occasionally? How do you become your best self? Many people feel frustration and are distracted a lot of the time. Few feel good all of the time. Many people lack a sense of deep purpose and joy. What about you do you feel that constantly or even consistently? Do you want to? Can you feel calm and collected on the inside and with the world around you? Would you like to have incredible motivation and drive to “get things done” and feel amazing while doing it? Believe it or not, some people live in a constant state of “peak performance”.
I’ve been through both. As far as distractibility I had a psychologist test me for ADHD and he told me “You are off the charts, I’m not sure how you have any semblance of a life.” Then put me on medication. But with the tools that I have learned and put together I eventually had moments where I’ve felt at the PEAK of my mental, physical, and spiritual self. And I have continued to progress since then and now I feel that perfect storm of energy, motivation, focus mixed with a constant sense of calm, clarity, and connectedness regularly.
Little by little, as the years past I have been putting the pieces together. How about you, are you closer today than yesterday? These are elements are available to you, they are what you need to live life in a constant state of peak-performance:
Focus: Reflect and determine a few meaningful objectives that will continuously give you FOCUS throughout your lifetime!
Calm: Watch your story and observe your thoughts!
Motivation: Find out the “Why” behind everything that you do!
Clarity: Study your thoughts and actions, deeply and honestly!
Energy: Create routines, do them over and over and turn them into habits!
Connectedness: Develop love and appreciation for everything in your life!
