A heartfelt review of the short comic book Wonder Care The Kinder Guardians: What Matters. Written by Victor Dandridge and illustrated by Justin Castaneda. The story is a reflection of our current world including the protests and raw emotions shown through the eyes of children. I can't say enough about this story as it strikes a chord and is incredibly reminiscent of the conversations I have to have with my own daughter about the current state of our country, those who are supposed to protect and serve and why some of them are hurting people that look like us. This is a five star read and if you are having trouble talking to your loved ones about the protesting and why we are hurt and angry, then I highly recommend What Matters: A Wonder Care Story.
