This episode of The Imprint Podcast, I speak with Gloria-Rose, Footwear Design Student.
We talk about her journey so far and she nearly followed a career path to becoming an Olympian but that all changed.
She won a design competition to have her first sneaker created with a Manchester, Black Owned Footwear company Clints and with this she had the opportunity to create her recent design the Gloria-Rose. This competition was inspired by the events that took place around George Floyd's death and aimed at black footwear designer.
She is currently studying at the London Collage of Fashion and recently finished her first year, she is very actively looking for work based internships to enhance her skillset further.
