Hello everyone and welcome to Season 4 of IngenioUs, the podcast where we speak with higher ed’s most creative thinkers and doers. Over the course of our first three seasons, we have had conversations with more than 100 campus and thought leaders, individuals who are at the center of the change that is currently underway. And through these conversations we have come to understand just how much the pandemic is changing higher education. A common theme across these conversations is the acknowledgement that the pandemic has upended just about everything—including how we live and work and long standing beliefs about the value of a four-year college education. To our signature question about what is on your radar right now, what we heard time and again is the understanding that we cannot go backwards. In Season 4, we will dig deeper to better understand all of the ways in which higher education is being transformed. We will speak with those who are experimenting and innovating in new and exciting ways, all in an effort to remain relevant and to make the needed changes that will endure and ensure financial viability. We invite you to subscribe now so you don’t miss out on any of our new content. For example, you will not want to miss our Season 4 kick-off episode, with The Pennsylvania State system of higher education Chancellor Dr. Dan Greenstein and Board Chair, Dr. Cynthia Shapira. Dan and Cindy share the backstory behind PASSHE’s bold multi-phase system redesign undertaken in 2017. They speak candidly with me about what it takes to pull off a change of this magnitude and what they’ve learned in the process.
