When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are given a new life. This new life is not just a matter of going to heaven when we die. It is a present reality that begins the moment we believe. In this new life, we are forgiven of our sins, set free from the power of sin, and adopted into God's family. We are also given the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us.
