Welcome to Noles News Now... a 4th of July... Independence Day edition for you. I'm Brian Pellerin. Whether you're opting for fireworks with friends, a cookout
with family or just throwing back cold ones alone, I hope it's a safe and happy holiday weekend for you.

And to be honest with you, if you came here looking for fireworks, I don't have them for you. The news cycle this weekend ain't producing much in the way of booms for you.

Things mostly remain quiet on the football front as we're still weeks away from the season. At least we're in July now so you can say there is FSU football next month.
As we count down to that day, we are continuing our schedule preview series with our newest one looking at the Clemson Tigers hot off the presses. Get the lowdown on
what Dabo and dem boys will have in store for the Seminoles this season.

Outside of FSU, the fun talk continues to center around conference realignment. The biggest news being USC and UCLA jumping to the Big Ten -- a natural fit there. And
now it seems everyone is just waiting on the next shoe to drop. There are rumors that four Pac12 schools including Arizona are looking to make the jump to the Big 12.
Again, just rumors at this point but seems like somebody is going to have to make a move next. Oddly though, the ACC remaining incredibly quiet on this. We've seen the
Big 12 get hit with Texas and O-U leaving for the SEC and responding with those AAC teams. We've seen the Pac-12 have their top dogs jump to the Big Ten. The ACC has
not gotten involved yet. Should they? Will they? Will FSU look to jump around? Should they? That's the subject of the next Seminole Wrap podcast set to drop this week.

And really the only other news item from FSU was from Friday with four baseball players -- Parker Messick, Jaime Ferrer, James Tibbs and Connor Whittaker -- each
landing on some form of All-American team. Congrats to those guys.

Outside of that, FSU really coasting through the holiday weekend as we probably all should. So if you're waking up with this on Monday morning, enjoy the rest of your
Independence Day weekend. Happy Fourth of July and we'll see you back here on Wednesday for another Noles News Now. Thanks for listening.
