It focuses on chemicals in our cosmetics, makeup, and personal care products. It’s a story that pulls the audience in on a very personal topic—the desire to be attractive and the lure of products that promise to deliver on those objectives. The film takes the audience on a journey of discovery, bringing clarity to widespread confusion about ingredients, marketing gimmicks, and even greenwashing. It not only reveals the health risks at stake for women, but offers examples of safer products they can use to avoid common chemicals of concern. It also examines new legislation, what the FDA can—and cannot do—and the effects these chemicals can have on the environment and our precious world. Jennifer is known for her award-winning movie directing and screenwriting. She’s has worked with major studios like Universal Pictures as a tagline writer and movie marketing professional on films like The Wolfman, Robin Hood, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Fast and Furious, Little Fockers, Larry Crowne, and many more! She also wrote, directed and produced, Mary Loss of Soul, which was awarded Best Director and Best Feature Film at Boston International Film Festival in 2014, and was nominated for Best Feature Film at Palm Beach International Film Festival.
