- At the crucifixion, there are two conflicting accounts regarding the two thieves on either side of Jesus. Matthew states that both reviled Jesus, whereas Luke states that only one of the thieves mocked Jesus, and the other rebuked him for doing so. How can we reconcile these two different accounts.
