With their backs against the wall and season on the brink of disaster the San Francisco 49ers showed guts and resiliency in overcoming a 17 point deficit to beat their division rivals for a 6th consecutive time. Jimmy Garoppolo was a complete disaster for much the game but pulled it together when it mattered most, and along with Deebo Samuel, and a ferocious pass rush, helped the 49ers secure a win, and a playoff berth, in compelling fashion.
