Through the disobedience of one man many were made sinners but because one other man was obedient many will be made righteous. On the cross, Jesus broke the cycle of generational sin by overcoming it and redeeming the consequence of death by rising on the 3rd day. When we repent from our sin and allow him to shape us into a new creation we are able to leave behind our old sinful way and generationally hand down to our children blessing instead of sin. The cycle of sin is broken by Christ, with Christ and in Christ. He is the overcomer!
