I had people in my past that I simply refused to forgive because of how badly they hurt me. According to me they didn't deserve it. Jesus tells a parable in Matthew chapter 18 about a servant who was forgiven a great debt but refused to offer that same mercy to someone who also owed him. The Bible is clear that we are to forgive or we ourselves will not be forgiven but sometimes it's just not that easy.
In this video, I share my painful past with you and explain how I was able to truly forgive the people who hurt me. Breaking away from the cycle of sin requires repentance of our sins but also forgiveness of others. All this is necessary to hand down to our children a new legacy, by being a new creation in Christ.
