Dr. Kendra A. Momon is Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA, where she also serves as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce and Director of the Rich Foundation Urban Leadership Program.

She is an expert on a variety of intersectionalities within American Politics, Leadership, The Black Church, Women in Politics, and Hip Hop Culture. She is the author of African American Politics, and her most recent book, Being As Leading: Your Roadmap To Shaping Culture Through Life’s Disruptions.

She is an in-demand public speaker, intellectual, guest commentator, and lecturer whose voice and perspective has been shared on a variety of local, national, and international platforms including NPR, CNN, CNNI, The Associated Press, The AJC, The King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Rhode Island College, The University of California, San Francisco, UGA, and LSU.
