Description

Lizette and Erica sit down with Tiffany Teer to get an inside look on what things were like for teachers, students, administrators and parents during the 2020-21 school year. So many ups, downs and countless changes - Tiffany describes how the school year ended, began and came around again during the most trying of times (COVID-19).

Tiffany Teer began her career as an educator at Brooks Oaks Academy in 2016. Although her passion lies with 3rd & 4th graders, she has also taught Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grades. Tiffany is certified as a Pre-K teacher - General Education. After 12 years in the classroom, her journey has led her to a leadership role as an Instructional Coach where she is able to share her knowledge and experience of data analysis and instruction with other colleagues. Tiffany is married to Aaron and they have an amazing 4 year old son, Kellen (who keeps them both super busy).
Whether you're a parent that is homeschooling your children or a parent that is sending their kids off to school (in-person/virtual), you will definitely appreciate listening to what some of our educators have gone through this year. Hopefully, we are all able to show a little GRACE to our students/kids and teachers while we navigate the unknown, uncharted territory of teaching in the wild...the COVID wild.
