Description

Rachel and Walls discuss the recent tragedy in the Atlanta-area: hate crime shootings in which a White man murdered eight people, including six Asian women. The hosts talk about some ways to support the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in the wake of the Atlanta killings, and how to practice strategies to confront the White Supremacy which has lead to this past year's deadly increase in hate, harassment, and violence targeting Asian Americans. Rachel and Walls also find small ways to lift one's spirits even in dark times--from celebrating accessories which make us feel ready to take on the world, to the perfect snacks to comfort us on any journey.
