This week we take a good portion of the episode to touch on the positive and negative current events that have happened this past week. Before we start out with the (beyond) meat of our episode, we make sure to share our hopes for the future and specifically for the Biden Administration to keep a somewhat positive mindset. We give an overview of the Georgia senate runoff races along with the very scary and devastating terrorists at the Capitol Building. Please keep in mind that while we do share our personal opinions, we take a fairly one sided approach at these topics because we fall very closely on the political spectrum. We take the rest of the episode to explain and share our opinions on Performative Activism which is a very frustrating and common type of activism we see throughout social media. While on the subject of Performative Activism, we drift into talking about Gatekeeping and Tone tags which are also seen throughout social media.
