"Stop fighting yourself and start fighting for yourself."

Amidst all of the chaos of the political and social scene that our country is currently experiencing, we wanted to take a break to discuss mental health. Although seemingly taboo, we want to break down this stigma and ensure that everyone is able to have equal opportunities to be the best versions of themselves possible. This includes balancing your social, emotional, and physical health. We discuss this notion in addition to diving into our own personal experiences. We give an overview as to the definitions of many commonly used phrases referring to mental health to get everyone on the same page. In addition, we issued a trigger warning to ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. We talk about ways in which we can uplift each other during the pandemic, as well as coping tips when it comes to mental health. We have all been experiencing new and scary things this past year, so it's important to prioritize yourself and check-in with how you've been doing!
