Being skinny fat...It's one of the most frustrating things.
You are somewhere in the middle and there is so much conflicting info, so I am going to tell you what to do:
Decide whether you need to cut or bulk
This means that if you are someone who is at a relatively high body fat, you should probably start with a fat loss phase.
If you are pretty skinny, and consider yourself an ectomorph, I would start you out with a lean muscle building phase.
This is going to vary from individual to individual, so don’t ever take someone’s blanket statement as to whether you should cut or bulk, always view it on a person-to-person basis.
