There's a lot of misinformation in the fitness and nutrition industry, that's why I am here.

I am here to take all of the guesswork out of weight loss, mindset, habits, and nutrition to make it super easy and simple for you to reach your goals.

What's up guys? I'm Jeffrey Pachtman. A chef, nutritionist, and personal trainer who coaches average everyday people online.

I break down and simplify the SCIENCE of fat loss and nutrition to make it easy for anyone to digest.

We are going to eat a LOT of tacos 🌮 , drink copious amounts of coffee and have a great time while we lose body fat, gain muscle, and enjoy some our favorite foods while doing it.

Ready to ride? Hit that subscribe button and let's see how deep this rabbit hole goes.

Quality of food matters.

Quantity of food matters.

Neither of them is all that matters, especially if your goal is fat loss and improving overall health.

Quality matters because you should be getting most of your foods from Whole Foods (I hate how iPhones capitalize that.)

Nutrient dense, high quality vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins will help you reach your fat loss goals.

Not to mention, most of these foods are high in volume, meaning that you can eat a lot of them for very little calories.

You can get fat eating chicken, broccoli, and avocados.

You can get fat eating “superfoods”!

Quantity matters for fat loss Because you need to be in a calorie deficit.

If you are not in a calorie deficit it doesn’t matter how much kale and spinach you are eating, you will not lose weight.

I have had several clients who eat nothing but non-starchy vegetables and wonder why they cannot lose weight.

You can overeat healthy foods, it happens all of the time!

EX: next time you are dipping your carrots in hummus, weigh out how much hummus you are actually eating. Chances are you think a light mid day snack that’s only 100-200 calories is more like 450-600 calories.

So what is more important quality or quantity?

The answer is they are both equally important.

There you go. IT DEPENDS. 😂
