Welcome to this new episode of More Than Medical Students!
This is part 2 of the episode with Dr Lasith Ranasinghe. In our previous episode we discussed all things studying and revision for Medical School and shared some great studying tips with you guys, so make sure to head over to listen to part 1 first!
Dr Laz is also the founder of a Medical Education charity called Make A Medic, which he founded while still at Medical School! Make a Medic is both creating great resources for students and also supporting charitable projects all over the world. In this episode we discuss Dr laz’s experience founding a charity back when he was a medical student, discussing the challenges and successes along the way.
We also discuss how to get involved with Medical Education at Med School in general which is something I have personally experienced as well and highly recommend as teaching is great fun and very rewarding!
