In this second week of our Journey to Jerusalem we encounter one of Jesus' most well-known teachings and Parables, often called the Parable of the Good Samaritan. While this parable is well-known, it is often not really understood. This Sunday we will peel back the layers of Jesus' teaching to see there is far more there than a simple platitude of kindness. This parable gives us wisdom for how to live as impactful agents for the Kingdom of God in these polarized times in which we live.
