The last words of a letter tend to give last exhortations and encouragements. In Peter’s letter to the Christians in Asia Minor, we see this same pattern as he exhorts and encourages the pastors of these churches, encourages the Christians to follow the leadership of their local church, and gives a final word of caution to not be lazy in their pursuit of holiness.
