In episode 5 I had the chance to sit down with childhood & local hero Andy McLaren. I'd spend hours on the park practicing dropping my shoulder while smashing one into the top corner the way Andy did.
In this episode we chat about life and this beautiful game of ours. We touch on where football began for him in the streets of Castlemilk, his playing career and how much he loves his music, especially local lad Gerry Cinnamon!
Andy was great and ever so open, football wasn't the only topic. We speak about Mental Health in the game and on a personal level.
He's someone who I look up to and have so much admiration for.
